Terms of service
Nexmark is a personal bookmark manager in active development. By using the service you agree to the terms below. We'll update this page as the product matures, and we'll surface material changes in-app before they take effect.
1. What Nexmark is
Nexmark is a personal bookmark manager that syncs your Chrome bookmarks to a private library, monitors them for dead links, and surfaces them through search and discovery features. It is operated by Nexmark.app for individuals.
2. Accounts
You sign in via Google, GitHub, or a magic-link email. You are responsible for keeping access to that identity secure. We do not store passwords for Nexmark itself.
You can delete your account at any time from /settings. Account deletion is irreversible and removes your bookmarks, tags, collections, and enrichment records.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the bookmarks, tags, notes, and collections you create. By using Nexmark, you grant us the minimal license needed to operate the service on your behalf — storing your data, fetching the pages you bookmark, and generating summaries for your private library.
We do not sell your data. We do not publish it. Aggregated, fully anonymized signal (e.g. how many users bookmark a domain) may inform discovery features, but never tied to your identity or your URL set.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Nexmark to host or distribute illegal content, attempt to compromise the service or other users, or abuse the enrichment pipeline (e.g. mass-bookmarking sites to coerce our crawler into hammering them).
5. Availability & changes
Nexmark is provided as-is during development. We aim for high uptime but make no SLA. Features marked as "in development" in the UI may change without notice. We will give reasonable warning before turning down or paywalling any shipped feature.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nexmark and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Always keep an independent backup of any bookmarks you can't afford to lose.
